Artist CK Cooper has created an array of new sculptures with powerful movement. The sculpture by itself is stunning. By simply shining a light on the wire mesh of the sculpture, you gain an unbelievably lifelike shadow on the wall behind the piece. CK works under a spot light in a darkened studio to sculpt the shadows perfectly. These incredible works are all handmade using only simple hand tools. Every sculpture in a series is made using the same model in the same pose as a reference. No forms or molds are ever used, so each sculpture will vary slightly from the others in the edition.
